Driven by globalization and rapid technological advancement, modern research methodologies have sparked a revolutionary breakthrough in the humanities, giving rise to a new discipline: digital humanities. Today, the evolution of humanities is inconceivable without the integration of digital resources and tools.
The international conference explores the opportunities and prospects of researching Georgian cultural heritage amidst the challenges of the digital era, aiming to facilitate knowledge exchange regarding cutting-edge technologies. Special emphasis will be placed on artificial intelligence applications designed for the automated digital decipherment of palimpsest manuscripts, alongside the broader future of manuscript decoding and its role in popularizing new knowledge.
Leading scientists in the field from Europe and Georgia are invited to read plenary papers at the conference.
