Khikhani International Summer School

"Digital Kartvelology"

Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University, in collaboration with the Academy of Digital Humanities and the University of Frankfurt, is pleased to announce the next International Summer School in Digital Kartveliology, scheduled for August 1–7, 2026.

The summer school aims to provide participants with the theoretical and methodological foundations of digital documentation and archiving. Additionally, it will feature fieldwork to collect and process empirical material in the Khikhani Gorge.

The project is financed within the framework of the “Higher Education Promotion Program” of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports of Adjara.
