"Paradigm shift - a new philosophy of science"

The Academy for Digital Humanities – Georgia in cooperation with Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University and Frankfurt University, organizes an International Winter School on the topic of “Paradigm Shift – a New Philosophy of Science”.

The International Winter School aims to transfer theoretical knowledge to the young generation of humanitarians – about the essence and forms of paradigm change in science, as well as develop their skills in acquiring and practically using of modern technologies and tools of digital resources in humanitarian studies.

  • Deadline for submission of applications: 15 March

  • Duration of winter school: 7 days (March 31 - April 6, 2025)
  • Number of participants in the winter school: 25
  • Registration fee: 100 Gel (Participation is free for undergraduate students of the Faculty of Humanities at TSU)

Monday, March 31

  • 13:30-14:30 - New life of ancient manuscripts (Georgian manuscripts research in the digital age) - Darejan Tvaltvadze (TSU)

  • 15:00-16:00 - Digital research of Georgian manuscripts and modern technologies for deciphering manuscripts - Mariam Kamarauli (University of Frankfurt/University of Hamburg)

  • 14:00-14:30 - Ceremonial closing of the International Winter School

On Sunday, April 6, an excursion is planned for the participants of the International Winter School (the location will be specified later).
